Description
The Equine Digestion Plus Pouches contains the same unique combination of active ingredients as our Equine Digestion Bars, but in a powdered form for extended transit times. These ingredients have been specifically chosen for their potential to reduce stomach acid, promote healing, reduce inflammation, reduce bad bacteria and promote good bacteria. The ‘Plus’ option of the bars contains additional ingredients to support the regeneration and repair of the stomach lining (recommended for horses with history of glandular ulcers). The pouch keeps the ingredients fresh until use, and portioned for daily use.
Instructions for use
- Feed one pouch, twice daily (am and pm) in feed for 2 weeks. Reduce to 1 bar per day for a further 2 weeks.
- After the initial one month course, feed once daily for maintenance or twice daily in the lead up to, and during periods of stress (e.g. travel, yarding and competition).
- If the horse is in work during this period, we highly recommend using in conjunction with our Digestive Support Elixir before work and travel.
- Open pouch and add directly to feed. If the horse is fussy, introduce small amounts gradually to a small amount of food that they enjoy (something wet like beet pulp or mash is ideal) until the full bar is tolerated, then feed as outlined above.
- Store in freezer, defrost as required and use within 6 months.
